Power cell structural sealant

Product description

A flame-retardant one-component, moisture-curing structural sealant for power batteries. The product can form a long-lasting elastomer at room temperature when cured by moisture in the air.

Product Features

Safe and environmentally friendly - non-toxic, solvent-free and isocyanate-free;

Strong adhesion - can achieve primerless bonding to most substrates;

Fire retardant - can achieve V0 level fire retardant.

Product Use

Power battery bonding adhesive can be used for power battery box pallet bonding, aggressive battery PACK pack bonding and sealing; with flame retardant requirements of the container, refrigerated vehicles, modified vehicles and other equipment caulking sealing.

Notes:

1 B above performance data before curing are measured at 25 ℃, relative humidity 55% after 7 days of curing. The product surface drying time will slow down accordingly as the storage time becomes longer.

2 B mechanical and electrical properties data are measured after the specimen is completely cured.

3B Our company is not responsible for data differences caused by different testing conditions or product improvements.

Processes used

1、Clean surface: Clean up the surface of the object to be glued or coated, and remove rust, dust and oil etc.

2、Glue application: unscrew (or cut open) the cap of the hose, squeeze the glue to the cleaned surface, so that the distribution can be even.

3、Curing: Place the glued or sealed parts in the air and let them cure naturally. The curing process is a surface to internal curing process, if the location of the glue is deep, especially not easy to contact the air parts, the complete curing time will be extended, if the temperature is low, curing time will also be extended, the general situation of complete curing takes more than 7 days.

Cautions

1、Not applicable to frozen or wet, substrate with silicone oil and on silicone rubber;

2、The surface of the adhered substrate must be clean and dry, free of dust, oil and water stains; if necessary, the adhered substrate should be cleaned and pre-treated with our cleaning agent 311 or primer 203;

3、Sealant can be trimmed and scraped with a scraper;

4, need to be sprayed beforehand to do compatibility test, sealant surface dry before spraying. Need to pay attention to the thickness and hardness of the coating, paint brittleness will reduce the elasticity of the rubber and lead to cracking of the paint layer;

5、Avoid direct contact with skin for a long time. In case of accidental splash in the eyes during use, seek immediate medical attention, do not approach the source of fire, do not let children come into contact;

6、The uncured sealant can be removed from the tools or equipment by cleaning agent 311 or appropriate solvent, after curing, it can only be removed by mechanical means.

Packaging specifications and storage and transportation

1、300ml/pcs, 20pcs/ctn; 20L barrel, 25kg/barrel. Also can be agreed according to user's needs.

2、The warranty period of the product is 9 months in a cool and dry environment at 5℃~27℃, and the product should be used only after confirming that there is no abnormality after the storage period.

3、These power battery structure sealant products are non-dangerous products and can be transported as general chemicals. Be careful of leakage during transportation.
